The 2026 Paramedic Chiefs of Canada (PCC) Leadership Summit brought nearly 200 paramedic leaders, delegates and industry partners to Calgary for three days of collaboration, learning and meaningful conversations about the future of EMS in Canada.<\/span><\/p>

For the Crestline team, the most valuable aspect of the summit was the opportunity to connect directly with customers, fleet managers and frontline professionals.
Throughout the event, discussions focused on the evolving needs of paramedic services across the country.<\/p>

Community paramedicine emerged as a recurring topic as organizations continue expanding their role within the healthcare system. Attendees also shared perspectives on the challenges of delivering emergency care across diverse provincial and regional service models.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Vehicle design was another important area of discussion. From front cabin functionality to caregiver workflow inside the patient compartment, paramedic leaders emphasized the importance of solutions designed around real-world operational needs.<\/p>

Fleet availability and vehicle replacement cycles were also top of mind, particularly the opportunity to maximize resources by extending the service life of vehicles in communities with more limited access to equipment and funding.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Outside the conference venue, delegates were invited to tour Crestline\u2019s FleetMax Next Generation Type III ambulance, developed in partnership with Toronto Paramedic Services<\/a>.

Alongside the FleetMax, delegates also toured the Demers FXP 174 Type I and TS Type II ambulances, creating opportunities for meaningful conversations about vehicle design, ergonomics, safety and operational efficiency.<\/p>

These interactions reinforced a principle that remains at the heart of Crestline\u2019s approach: the best solutions are developed through partnership. By listening to customers and incorporating their feedback into the design process, we can continue creating ambulances that address real-world operational needs.<\/p>
