This year has been a milestone for Crestline. As we mark our 50th anniversary, we have had the privilege of celebrating not only our decades of innovation and excellence as an ambulance manufacturer and bus distributor, but also the people who have made Crestline what it is today, past and present. Two special events brought this spirit to life: our 50th Anniversary Party earlier this year and our Family Day a few weeks ago.
Honouring our roots: 50th anniversary celebration
A few months ago, Crestline welcomed back some of the very first individuals who helped build the company from the ground up, including our first employees, retirees, and our founders. It was a heartfelt evening filled with stories, laughter, and reconnection as former teammates reunited for the first time in years.
Guests enjoyed a traditional pitchfork steak fondue while browsing a display of vintage Crestline artifacts that showcased just how far we have come over five decades. It was more than a party, it was a tribute to the legacy of craftsmanship, dedication, and teamwork that has defined Crestline since day one.
Crestline family day celebration
While our anniversary celebration honoured our roots, Family Day shone a spotlight on the future and on the people who keep Crestline thriving today. Employees brought their families behind the scenes for a guided tour of our manufacturing floor, providing a firsthand look at how ambulances are built.
The day was filled with joy and excitement. There was cotton candy in the showroom, face painting, temporary ambulance tattoos, a petting zoo, bouncy castles, and a barbecue lunch with hot dogs and hamburgers. Crestline swag made for fun souvenirs, while children’s laughter filled the plant.
Family Day was also about safety. A special project launched during the event collected colourful handprints from the children of our employees. Each handprint will be part of a poster displayed on our production floor, serving as a daily reminder that safety is not just about protecting ourselves and our colleagues, it is about making sure we all return safely to the people who matter most.
Building the Future Together
These two events, one celebrating our history and the other celebrating our people today and tomorrow, perfectly capture what Crestline stands for. Our success has always come from our people, from their skill, their pride, their care for each other, and their commitment to building vehicles that protect lives.
As we look ahead to the decades to come, we remain grounded in the same values that brought us here: safety, innovation, quality, and family. To our past employees who laid the foundation, and to our current team and their families who carry it forward, thank you for being part of the Crestline story.
