September 13th, 2024 – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan: Crestline Coach is thrilled to announce an organizational change in the role of VP Operations and the addition of a new role, Director of Operational Excellence. We are pleased to welcome Claude Gingras as our new Vice President of Operations for Crestline and Kevin MacDonald as our Director of Operational Excellence.
Claude brings a wealth of experience to Crestline and the broader DBCM family, having held senior leadership positions in multi-site manufacturing environments. Claude’s 14-year tenure at Bombardier Transportation (now Alstom) included roles as General Manager and Project Director. There, he led efforts in delivering high-quality mass transit rail vehicles, optimizing manufacturing processes, and managing supply chains to ensure cost-effective, timely production.
Our primary focus remains on increasing capacity and reducing lead times. The newly opened Apex facility has created additional space at our Wheeler production site, allowing it to focus exclusively on new ambulances. This expansion will further support Crestline’s lead time objective and allow Claude to maximize production and streamline our operations.
To further support the strong demand for Crestline ambulances and buses, we are pleased to announce Kevin MacDonald as our Director of Operational Excellence to the Crestline team.
Kevin will focus on optimizing key manufacturing processes, leading continuous improvement initiatives, strengthening internal process quality, evolving our core internal business processes, and establishing robust project management practices. He will support Claude Gingras and lead the Manufacturing Engineering team, Quality and Safety team all to better serve our customers and improve lead times.
Kevin brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in operational leadership and continuous improvement. Kevin joins Crestline after a 17-year tenure with CNH Industrial. Kevin’s background includes leading industrialization practices for new product launches, and he most recently led their North American quality organization. Prior to CNH, Kevin worked with Ford in Windsor, Ontario, where he oversaw high-volume engine manufacturing.
Together, Claude and Kevin will drive Crestline’s commitment to delivering safe, reliable, high-quality vehicles while expanding capacity and reducing lead times so our customers receive their vehicles faster, helping them maintain a full, efficient fleet.
Crestline’s strategic investment in infrastructure, resources, and employees reflects a long-term commitment to growth and be able to continue to support our customers well into the future.
