With 72″ of interior headroom and thoughtful upgrades throughout, it represents the next step in the evolution of Crestline ambulances.

The CCL 166 Type III ambulance is available on a Ford E-450 or Chevrolet G3500. It’s a wise choice for fleets that value durability, ease of service, and long-term value, while providing crews with the comfort and functionality they need on every call.

An enhanced working environment makes your job easier.

The CCL 166 builds on the proven foundation of the CCL 150 with a series of thoughtful enhancements.

  • Extended Module Length – 16″ longer than the CCL 150, creating more workspace for critical patient care.

  • Repositioned Airway Station – Shifted 10″ forward to improve access to MMC controls and add 6″ of legroom.

  • Enhanced Crew Comfort – An additional 3″ of cab recline over the CCL 150 reduces fatigue on long shifts.

  • Flip-Up Rear Bumper – Protects the module from impact damage and allows seamless use of powerload systems.

  • Rear Action Area – Includes a new storage drawer option for a more flexible CPR seating area.

  • Double Door S2/S3 Storage Compartment – Increases overall storage volume.

  • ZICO Oxygen Lift Option – Supports safer loading and unloading of oxygen tanks, reducing strain on first responders.
